One of the most important mandates of the Urban Economy Forum which works under umbrella of UN-Habitat is to cooperate with universities and scholars, related research centers, as well as city leaders, banking managers, and financial institutions to meet SDG11, that is, to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. To facilitate this mission and to promote the introduction of York University to the world as a pioneer university in sustainability, the project UNIVER-CITY will be introduced and discussed.
