Attention MES & BES (3rd & 4th year) students interested in Planning Careers:
On Wednesday May 13th from 12:00 - 1:30 there will be a remote planning panel consisting of our MES Alumni who will speak with MES planning students and BES students interested in pursuing planning.
Most of our panellists are senior staff members in the planning profession and have had to start in a junior capacity to work their way up. In the hopes of better preparing our planning students for their first few months at a new job, our panellists will demystify what it is that junior planners do and the expectations from senior staff.
The remote panel discussion will be hosted by the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Studies, Dr. Alice Hovorka.
The panel agenda will be as follows:
12:05PM Welcome remarks by Dr. Hovorka & Alumni introductions
12:10PM Panel questions begin moderated by Dr. Hovorka
12:40PM Panel ends
12:45PM Speed networking sessions into break out room (3 sessions 10-13 minutes each session)
